The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there. Join us on February 28, 2026 - across the country, close to home!
The Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser raises funds for one of United Way Bruce Grey’s core priorities: “From Poverty to Possibility.” This initiative funds essential programs that tackle food insecurity, utility assistance, homelessness, and the provision of school supplies for students from low-income families—fostering lasting change and hope for a brighter future.
The South East Grey Community Health Centre (SEGCHC) plays a vital role in supporting individuals and families in South Grey facing the challenges of poverty. Thanks to the 2025 Coldest Night of the Year event, SEGCHC provided 212 free boxes of fresh produce to local families in need.
Join us for the 2026 Coldest Night of the Year fundraising walk on Saturday, February 28th. Funds raised will directly support vulnerable community members in South Grey. Together, we can make a meaningful difference right here at home.
