The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities. Let’s change the tune for people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there. Join us on February 22, 2025 - team up, fundraise, and walk with us!
Island Crisis Care Society (ICCS) is a registered, non-profit society that operates in the Nanaimo and the Oceanside area. Throughout our 8 housing sites and 13 programs, we provide housing and supports to over 250 people daily.
Our aim is to offer more than just shelter. We provide clients a wide range of supports for their growth and development; to not just survive, but to thrive!
We offer a wide range of housing options to best support our community needs. From crisis shelter to supportive housing through to rent subsidies, our goal is to have a complete spectrum of care.
This year, funds raised through the Coldest Night of the Year will go to support our community-based programs that provide essential skill-building for our clients. Topics such as healthy eating; literacy; art therapy; job readiness training; communication; and cultural learning continue to have a major impact on our clients journey to independence.
Walk with us on Saturday, February 22nd and help us to show the Oceanside communities that we care! Together we can make a difference!
