The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities. Let’s change the tune for people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there. Join us on February 22, 2025 - team up, fundraise, and walk with us!
The event will start and end at the Starlight Stadium Plaza. The event will be set up behind the stadium at the end of the field located near the pond / fountain, next to the gravel parking lot and Boulder Climbing House.
On February 22, 2025, join us for Canada's National Walk for Homelessness. Our Place serves Greater Victoria’s most vulnerable: working poor, impoverished elderly, mentally and physically challenged, addicted and the homeless. As part of our continuum of care, we provide housing to 450 individuals, provide addiction recovery services and second stage housing to the graduates of our recovery program. This Year's walk will support Post graduate services at New Roads Therapeutic Recovery Community.
We will be walking downtown and we are excited to continue our partnership with Pacific Centre Family Services Association for the walk in the Westshore!
Coldest Night of the Year is a family-friendly walk that raises awareness and money for charities serving hungry, homeless, and hurting people in our community. Gather or join a team of friends, family, workmates or congregation together and as a community, lets walk, spread awareness and provide a sense of hope, love and belonging to our neighbours in need.
Since 1968, Pacific Centre Family Services Association (PCFSA) has been promoting dignity and quality of life for families and individuals across Southern Vancouver Island, especially on the Westshore, through education, counselling, and creative programming. Across 14 core programs, our services are improving the lives of youth-at-risk, adults, families, and seniors each year. Since 2022, PCFSA has also been offering team based medical care, including community outreach for the most vulnerable members of our community. Last year, PCFSA helped over 4,000 Individuals from 14 different municipalities in the Westshore and surrounding areas.
On February 22nd, 2025, join us for Canada's National Walk for Homelessness. We are excited to be partnering with Our Place Society for the 6th Annual Victoria Westshore walk.
